Experienced HVAC Installer

Installation TechnicianThe Installation Technician reports to the Installation Manager and is responsible for performing a range of HVACR installation jobs for industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Customer-based activities require an individual possessing traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a technically credible manner. Job-related contact can occur with virtually all demographic groups, with the majority of working contacts being customers, other technicians, the Installation Manager, the Estimator and the Parts Runner.Responsibilities:Install HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipmentInterpret blueprints, installation manuals, and work orders to determine material requirements and installation proceduresMeasure and layout installation areas accuratelyConnect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other componentsTest installed systems to ensure they function properly and make necessary adjustmentsEnsure all work complies with current HVAC codes and safety standardsCommunicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure customer satisfactionComplete all required documentation and reports accurately and on timeRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and insurable by the company's insurance carrierAble to provide current Motor Vehicle Report to A&EMinimum of 2-5 years of HVAC installation experienceStrong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation proceduresAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical manualsProficiency in using HVAC tools and equipmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety and adherence to safety protocolsPhysical Demands:Ability to lift and carry up to 100 poundsComfortable working from ladders and in confined spacesManual dexterity to manipulate tools and equipmentAbility to work in various weather conditionsWork Environment:Exposure to outdoor environments and extreme temperaturesOccasional high levels of dust and noiseOn-site work at residential and commercial locationsBenefits:401(k) and Roth 401(k)401(k) Matching 3.5%Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 100% paidPaid Time Off, Sick Leave and 7 paid Holidays per yearCompany CarCompany PartiesEmployee discountsTool programProgressive longevity bonus, $250 per yearCompensation: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour Nestled in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, we have proudly serviced areas between Gresham and The Dalles for over 16 years.
