Job Details Nurse RN Responsibilities Complete health and physical development assessments of all children enrolled in services. Maintain a comprehensive health services program that tracks each child’s progress and promotes positive health behaviors. Support parents in creating a medical home that involves current immunizations, annual physical and dental examinations, and ongoing primary and preventive care. Maintain health records. Provide linkages to medical and dental services as well as assistance in obtaining health insurance. Screen children’s health and eyesight when necessary. Chair the health advisory committee. Provide support to the center staff regarding medical emergencies and screening children’s immediate medical needs.
