Outbound Warehouse Logistics Specialist

Location: Ashland, VA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Pay: $20/hour

A Day in the Role

Start your shift by checking your sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack (EPJ), reviewing outbound orders, and mapping the most efficient plan to move freight. You’ll build and wrap pallets, verify counts, stage orders by lane, and load outbound trailers so every shipment leaves on time and complete. Throughout the day, you’ll maintain a clean, organized dock and follow safety procedures without compromise.

What You’ll Handle

• Load trailers and manage outbound shipments with speed and precision
• Operate a sit-down forklift and EPJ to move, stage, and organize freight
• Build, wrap, and secure pallets for safe transport
• Verify order accuracy before release and stage shipments for pickup
• Keep the shipping area clean, orderly, and free of hazards
• Adhere to all safety procedures and standard work instructions

Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks (EPJ)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and safety protocols

Physical Demands

• On your feet moving, walking, and standing for the full shift
• Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying of materials
• Lift up to 50 lbs independently (team lift for heavier items)
