Hospital Phlebotomist - 3rd Shift

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00AM – 12:00PM with rotating weekends and holidays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. One or more years of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program. One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: – $17.75 – $25.00 per hour with 3rd shift differential.
