GC/MS Scientist- Extractables & Leachables

Eurofins seeks a GC/MS Scientist to evaluate container closure systems, delivery devices, and medical components for extractable and leachable compounds in their Lancaster, PA laboratory. The role involves performing analytical testing, troubleshooting instrumentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical analyses of biopharmaceutical ingredients and products with high accuracy
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis; operate laboratory instrumentation independently
• Troubleshoot instrumental and methodological problems
• Review laboratory data for accuracy and regulatory compliance; write detailed investigations
• Support multiple concurrent projects and mentor newer analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field
• 1 year GMP laboratory experience
• 1 year GC/MS experience in industry (minimum requirement)
• Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship
• Experience with extractables and leachables testing preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 10993 and/or ISO 18562 standards preferred
• Experience in cGMP, GLP, or ISO 17025 compliant laboratory preferred
