Lets innovate the infinite, together./ppA DAY IN THE LIFE: As a Finance Analyst III, youll support Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) activities, including forecasting, reporting, and financial performance analysis. Youll work across multiple programs and departments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial insights that drive business decisions. From analyzing variances to supporting program financials, youll play a key role in improving forecast accuracy and enhancing financial visibility across the organization./ppWHAT YOULL DO/pulliSupport Financial Forecasting Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, support monthly and quarterly forecasts, and analyze actuals vs. forecast to identify key business drivers./liliPerform Variance Trend Analysis: Monitor financial performance, investigate variances, and provide clear, data-driven commentary with actionable recommendations./liliPartner with Program Management: Support program financials, including tracking performance, assisting with Estimates at Completion (EACs), monitoring cost/schedule performance, and evaluating profitability./liliOwn Reporting Deliverables: Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness./liliCollaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Business Development to ensure alignment between financial forecasts and operational plans./liliSupport Month-End Close Activities: Assist Accounting during close cycles by providing analysis, accrual support, and explanations for financial results./liliTrack Cash Flow Commitments: Monitor project commitments, invoicing schedules, and cash receipts/disbursements to support short- and long-term cash flow forecasting./liliAnalyze Cost Drivers: Evaluate labor, material, and overhead costs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization./liliIntegrate Business Pipeline: Partner with Business Development to incorporate new awards, backlog, and pipeline updates into rolling forecasts./liliEnhance Reporting Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline FPA processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting tools and dashboards./liliSupport Audit Compliance Efforts: Assist in preparing financial data and documentation for internal and external audits as needed./liliDrive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that improve forecasting accuracy, financial visibility, and overall FPA effectiveness./li/ulpYOURE AWESOME AT:/pulliFinancial Modeling Analysis: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into meaningful recommendations./liliCommunication Storytelling: Effectively presenting financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders./liliData Management Tools: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience working with ERP/MRP systems and reporting tools./liliCross-Functional Collaboration: Building strong partnerships across departments to gather inputs and support business objectives./li/ulpWHAT YOULL NEED:/pulliBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline./lili5 or more years of experience in financial analysis, FPA, or program finance./liliProven expertise in at least two or more of the following:/liliFinancial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis./liliProgram finance support, including EACs and profitability analysis./liliERP/MRP systems and financial data management./liliData visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)./liliCross-functional financial planning within manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments./liliFamiliarity with FAR/DFARS, DCAA compliance, and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards is a plus./liliKnowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and tools (e.g., Cobra, MS Project) is a plus./liliAbility to obtain a U.S. security clearance./li/ulpCOMPENSATION BENEFITS: The starting base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on the candidates job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
