Dogwood Industries is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our Team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. A successful candidate will be able to efficiently and accurately weld steel assemblies from plan specifications and quality control hold points. They will be able to perform fitting tasks, process complex parts for assembly and finish welding operations. A successful candidate must be able to understand written and verbal instructions while following dimensional and welding drawings and produce quality welds within a given process. Duties & Responsibilities Welding competency in all positions Able to set weld machines to optimum parameters for work in accordance with WPS Understands weld symbols and prepares joints in accordance with code Competent in metal fabrication to exact specifications and drawings Operate machinery and tools such as grinders, saws, torches, and drills to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to design specifications Fit, align, and adjust parts to ensure proper functionality and attention to the design Performs fitting work as instructed Utilizes jigs and fixtures where appropriate Places welds of proper size, spacing and sequence per work instruction Ability to read and understand shop plans, blueprints and work orders Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion Follow safety guidelines and procedures Location: Sedro-Woolley, WA #J-18808-Ljbffr
