Temporary Recruiter / HR Coordinator

Location: Camas, WA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $24.00-$28.00/hour, depending on experience

Assignment Length: Approximately 6 months

Work Setting: Onsite

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter / HR Coordinator for a temporary 6-month assignment with a growing manufacturing organization in Camas, WA.

This is a hands-on HR role supporting recruiting and day-to-day HR activities for an Operations team. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting for manufacturing, facilities, logistics, and other operational positions
• Post job openings, review hiring activities, schedule interviews, and assist with offer preparation and pre-employment requirements
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process and provide timely updates on next steps
• Partner with hiring managers and HR team members to coordinate candidate selection and onboarding
• Help ensure new hires are prepared for a smooth first-day and onboarding experience
• Support community outreach, recruiting events, and career fairs
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with employee changes and HR documentation
• Provide administrative support and assist with HR projects as needed
• Handle confidential employee and company information with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recruiting, HR coordination, or related administrative experience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Ability to learn HR and applicant tracking systems quickly
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an HR certification
• Previous recruiting or HR experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment
