Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty located in Lubbock, Texas. This position involves providing advanced cardiovascular surgical support with a focus on open heart procedures. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, specialized environment requiring recent cardiovascular experience and the ability to scrub heart valve or open heart procedures independently.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid compact state license; at least 2 years of consecutive cardiovascular surgery experience; must have recent experience in cardiovascular cases within the last 3 months.
• Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) both accepted provided the required experience is met.
• Special Procedures and Skills: Proficiency in a wide range of cardiovascular surgical techniques including coronary artery bypass grafting, cardiac valve procedures, endovascular aneurysm repairs, and more. Must be capable of scrubbing heart valve or open heart procedures independently.
• Travel Experience: Required.
• Additional Information: Willingness to work 8-hour shifts, with the possibility of floating between units. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). All scheduling and requested time off should be specified during application.
