Databricks Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data industry, is seeking a Databricks Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Denver, Colorado
Pay Range: $70-90/hour based on experience

What's the Job?
- Independently design, build, and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
- Identify the data needed for business problems and implement logging to ensure data availability, working with data infrastructure to troubleshoot issues and resolve them.
- Build data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operational efficiency.
- Design, build, and launch new data models to support evolving business needs.
- Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance, working with large-scale data environments.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar roles.
- Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Experience with Big Data platforms such as Databricks, EMR, Hadoop.
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design, ETL tools, and cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
