Location:Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites Downtown/BaysideLife as a Public Area Attendant: We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Lobby Attendant to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our guests. The Lobby Attendant plays an important role in creating exceptional first impressions by ensuring all public areas are spotless, well-stocked, and guest-ready throughout the day.Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.Review the assigned area and complete general removal of any trash.Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas.Remove all dust, debris, and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions.Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with the Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift.What we're looking for:Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbalKnowledge of proper chemical handlingPrevious experience in cleaning public buildingsHigh school graduate or equivalent vocational trainingExperience in hospitality industry in similar positionPrevious guest relations trainingQualifications:Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred, but not required.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Reliable, punctual, and dependable.Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.Physical Requirements:Frequently stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs.Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.What to expect in your first few months:You will begin by getting familiar with the property.
