Position Title: Engineering Technician IILocation: Newport, RIClearance required: SECRETScope of Work: Provides mid-level technician support for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network, telephone, and Media Center infrastructure and cabling plant.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Install, terminate, test, and maintain copper and fiber optic cabling plant, including inter-building fiberPerform remedial and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of infrastructure componentsInstall or modify network, Media Center, and telephone configurationsUpdate and maintain maintenance records and documentationMinimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.Mid-level infrastructure installation, testing, and maintenance skillsPersonnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2 #J-18808-Ljbffr Paycom - ATS
