Location & Shift Store 2743088: 4955 E Royalton Road, Broadview Heights, Ohio 44147 – Overnight Shift (Weekdays + Weekend Availability) – Full Time Essential Duties Food Merchandising: Complies with company guidelines for maximizing sales, profitability, and customer service by ensuring all grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, attractively displayed, and priced correctly. Completes build‑to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise, checks in deliveries, prices items, and stocks merchandise according to schematic. Validates deliveries by verifying invoices, reviewing discrepancies with Store Manager, and handling outdated merchandise. Display Preparation: Assembles, dates, and price‑marks in‑store displays; rotates food items, monitors quality and freshness measures, and maintains food preparation areas and display cases to attract and retain customers. Customer Satisfaction: Provides prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner. Greets customers as they enter, assists with routine concerns, and resolves issues within established guidelines. Facility Condition: Maintains a safe and clean work environment by sweeping, mopping, cleaning floors, dusting or washing windows, counters, displays, and bathrooms. Picks up and disposes of trash, litter, or debris, inspects store facilities and equipment for safety and cleanliness, and sanitizes food service equipment. Administrative: Attends job‑related meetings, fosters intradepartmental collaboration, complies with company policies, contributes to team efforts, performs duties with minimal supervision, and completes other tasks assigned by the Store Manager. Job Requirements Minimum age of 18 years old. High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Ability to work as scheduled, including arriving to work on time. Strong communication skills for clear information exchange. Basic arithmetic proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to perform the essential duties and physical functions described below. Capacity to work in the conditions described below. Physical Requirements Exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes; occasional work in walk‑in cooler and/or freezer and outdoors. Carries up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead and up to 50 pounds from ground to waist. Grasps, reaches, and manipulates objects with hands; requires eye‑hand coordination. Pushes/pulls with arms up to a force of 20 pounds using a hand‑truck. Reaches overhead and bends or twists at waist as needed. Communicates orally. Operates a cash register and/or computer keyboard. Stoops, kneels, squats, bends, pushes, and pulls as required. Works alone, exposed to occasional noise, stands or walks for an entire shift; may climb a ladder to retrieve materials. Work Environment Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks such as cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, or taking out garbage. Exposure to extreme cold temperatures in a walk‑in cooler and/or freezer. Exposure to occasional noise. Operates with minimal direction and periodic supervision.
