Sam's Club #6353 1946 10th Ave N Myrtle Beach, SC 29577-5624 Responsibilities Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans such as the Open Door Policy and applying them to business processes and practices. Operate forklift in accordance with company standards, safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; and adapt to change and feedback. Receive stock and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow following company policy; utilize equipment and merchandising appropriately; handle inventory exceptions; correct shelf capacities; and complete necessary paperwork, logs, and documentation. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, guiding and supporting them on self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation per company policies by zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up cleaning and organizing displays, maintaining modular integrity, and ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. Process defective merchandise following company and regulatory policies, and monitor security risks and shrinkage. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders, selecting and staging products per policy, ensuring Merchandising Associates pick within acceptable timeframes, and conducting occasional audits for accuracy. Handle moves and displays of goods safely, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools and equipment appropriately. Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report unsafe conditions, and notify management if forklifts are not in proper working order. Proactively identify customers who need help with technology services, actively engage them, assist with technology services and items, model and help others, identify shrink opportunities, and take corrective actions promptly. Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
