Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping, warehouse, and material handling operations. This position will be responsible for preparing customer orders, organizing inventory, operating computer and shipping systems, assembling products as needed, and safely moving materials throughout the facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Verify and prepare packages for customer orders according to work orders and shipping requirements.
• Pick, sort, and place products on shelves and in designated bins according to established procedures and sequences.
• Assemble products and components as needed to complete customer orders.
• Operate a tow motor/forklift to safely move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the facility.
• Use computers, UPS shipping systems, FedEx programs, and other shipping-related software to process orders and shipments.
• Operate various machines and equipment used in warehouse and manufacturing operations.
• Inspect orders and packages for accuracy before shipment.
• Maintain an organized and clean shipping and warehouse area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
• Assist with other warehouse and shipping duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous tow motor/forklift experience is required.
• Shipping, warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent reaching, bending, lifting, and moving materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely operate a tow motor/forklift and other equipment as required.
