Research Analyst, Research Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0151909] Role: The Research Analyst works directly under a Senior Researcher within the Office of Research at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV on several research projects (both funded and unfunded), with faculty, staff, and learners, including grant‑funded research projects. Responsibilities Study design and implementation Data collection, cleaning, and analysis Assisting in completing and managing Institutional Review Board protocols Creating and validating survey tools Drafting reports, manuscripts, posters, presentations, social media and/or newsletters and websites Database management including data cleaning, data dictionary, data curation, data dashboard creation and maintenance Other duties depending upon research priorities Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of training (e.g., Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar fields of Social Sciences). Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral Degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of training (e.g., Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar fields of Social Sciences) and 3‑5 years’ experience in a Social Science setting.
