American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier manufacturer of custom flexible packaging products in Pierce County, WA to hire a full-time Customer Service Account Specialist . In this dynamic, high-visibility role, you will serve as the primary communication bridge for key client accounts, process quotes and purchase orders with pinpoint accuracy, monitor production lead times, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and top-tier client satisfaction. Description for Customer Service Account Specialist:- Manage assigned customer accounts end-to-end, including processing price quotes, purchase orders, order confirmations, returns, credits, and invoice adjustments.
- Serve as the primary liaison responding promptly, professionally, and courteously to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Provide real-time order status updates, technical product information, inventory availability, and realistic production lead times.
- Enter sales orders accurately into the company ERP system and follow up consistently with Production Planning and Shipping teams to verify ship dates.
- Provide dedicated account support to outside Sales Representatives and facilitate clear cross-departmental communication.
- Maintain meticulous customer account files, master data records, pricing schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Develop an in-depth working knowledge of flexible packaging product lines, film specifications, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and enterprise ERP software (Sage 100) to manage daily order workflows efficiently.
- Pay Rate: $18.00 – $25.00 / hour (Scaling cleanly based on manufacturing account background, software proficiency, and depth of experience / DOE).
- Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday daytime business hours).
- Work Environment: Professional on-site office setting located within a busy manufacturing and distribution facility.
- Location: Pierce County, WA.
- Position Type: Full-Time, long-term career pathway.
- Customer Service Tenure: Minimum 2+ years of verified business-to-business (B2B) or high-volume customer service experience ( experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment is strongly preferred ).
- Software & Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Outlook and Excel skills required). Prior ERP experience strongly preferred ( Sage 100 experience is a major PLUS!).
- Data Entry Speed & Accuracy: Advanced alphanumeric typing and 10-key numeric entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Solid baseline mathematics skills for calculating prices, unit conversions, square footages, or discount margins.
- Strong multitasking ability—capable of prioritizing simultaneous requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-first demeanor.
- Outstanding record of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and professional reliability.
- Competitive $18.00–$25.00/hr pay scale based on experience.
