About the Position

Job Title

RN - Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Location

Fairfield, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite | 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), every other weekend, rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs using the nursing process
• Provide total patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Direct and guide patient teaching to support positive health outcomes
• Supervise and coordinate activities of ancillary personnel
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice throughout all patient interactions

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Iowa RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Must meet all health and compliance requirements including immunizations, background check, drug screen, and mandatory reporter certifications prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior emergency room nursing experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity or trauma-level care environment
