Speech Language Pathologist in Tacoma, WA

Qualifications Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Current or eligible for CCC credential Experience providing speech and language services in a K-12 school environment Must be fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) Must hold, or be willing to obtain, Washington ESA (Education Staff Associate) certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt strategies to individual student needs Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on your caseload Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families Maintain accurate records and document student progress Consult with teachers and support staff to implement effective interventions Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to student success strategies Engage in ongoing professional development as required Imagine spending your days helping students grow while working alongside supportive colleagues in a dynamic educational setting.
