About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 4+ years of acute care experience, recent travel experience required License: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Certifications: CRCST by IAHCSMM OR CSPDT by ASHCSP. Certification must be current and maintained with CEUs as required. Must-Have: Proficiency in ortho, neuro, and cardiac. Fluent in English. Description: This position is for evening shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday. There is no rotation to other days unless it falls under the end of the hour requirement. Weekend rotation is required once in an 8-week window. No call is required. No requests for time off will be approved during the first 13-week contract, and there is no blocked scheduling. The candidate will float to several areas within the facility. Travelers will not be assigned to steam sterilization or dispatch.
