Position Summary We seek a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our team of caring imaging professionals committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct vital diagnostic examinations, teamed with a collaborative group of clinicians all striving to provide peace of mind to patients through timely and precise imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each process with empathy
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
- Handle and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
- Accurately log procedures and keep patient records updated within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- High level of proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
