Senior HR Business Partner

Tanium is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to build partnerships with leaders at all levels and develop strong organizations that enable the company to thrive and employees to grow. This role reports to the Vice President of Human Resources. What you’ll do Coach leaders and resolve complex organizational challenges with people‑related solutions, including talent planning, organizational design, new manager enablement, coaching, employee engagement, change management, and diversity & inclusion. Contribute at both strategic and hands‑on levels, leveraging deep understanding of business and thought leadership on people and organizational topics. Strategically partner with business to design and deliver targeted solutions (strategic planning, organizational design, change management, team building). Develop and implement engagement programs that align with business needs and foster an extraordinary employee experience. Measure impact through metrics, data analysis, and continuous improvement. Build trusted relationships and credibility within business groups and across organizations. Work with unit leadership and employees to ensure alignment with Tanium values. Provide effective coaching to leadership. Support performance management and employee engagement. Identify root causes of complex issues, design and implement solutions across multiple disciplines. Translate business unit needs into HR actions and keep leadership updated on all HR programs. Execute workforce planning (headcount, hiring, training targets). Manage projects of various scales with independent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Address and manage employee relations issues fairly, thoroughly, and proactively. Partner with Recruiting, Total Rewards, HR Ops, and L&D to deliver relevant people programs. Operate across cultural and geographic boundaries, delivering value in diverse global markets. Monitor the “pulse” of the organization to ensure high employee engagement. We’re looking for someone with Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of HR experience working closely in business, with at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner or equivalent. What you’ll get The annual base salary range for this full‑time position is $146,000 to $224,000, and compensation may be adjusted based on location, education, skills, training, and experience.
