Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Alteryx)

Salary: $58,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software, platform, cloud, or analytics engineering, or enterprise technology implementations.
• 3+ years of hands-on Alteryx experience, including Alteryx Server, Designer, and/or Alteryx One (Alteryx Cloud).
• Experience implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise Alteryx environments, including Alteryx Cloud implementations or migrations from Alteryx Server.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex technology implementations, cloud migrations, or platform transformations from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation, documentation, operational readiness, and knowledge transfer.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience, including cloud architecture, networking, security, and infrastructure; hands-on Google Cloud VPC design, implementation, and administration.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting cloud networking, routing, firewall rules, DNS, and secure cloud-to-on-premises communications.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and cloud applications.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, authentication, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and role-based access controls.
• Experience with data connectivity, enterprise integrations, APIs, platform interoperability, and enterprise data platforms.
• Ability to develop technical architecture documents, migration plans, governance frameworks, support models, and operational runbooks.
• Experience using Jira in Agile and/or Kanban environments.
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment, with familiarity with governance, risk, compliance, audit, change management, and security controls.
• Strong technical documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills; ability to influence decisions, manage dependencies, remove roadblocks, and deliver results across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to lead technical work independently and transfer knowledge effectively to engineering and support teams.
• Preferred: Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Preferred: Experience establishing platform governance, onboarding processes, support models, and user enablement programs; delivering training, office hours, and adoption strategies; working with software vendors and implementation partners; or supporting enterprise analytics, BI, and data science platforms.

• Lead the Alteryx Cloud implementation end to end, from strategy and architecture through migration, governance, and operationalization.
• Drive discovery and requirements gathering, implementation planning, and delivery with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate with technology, product, operations, cybersecurity, risk, and vendor teams to influence decisions, manage dependencies, and resolve roadblocks.
• Establish platform governance and develop migration plans, technical architecture documentation, support models, and operational runbooks.
• Prepare the platform for operational support and deliver knowledge transfer to engineering and support teams.

We are hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for an Alteryx Cloud implementation on a six-month contract with a strong possibility of extension. The hybrid role is based in Irving, Texas, or Charlotte, North Carolina, with three days onsite and two days remote.
