Job ID: 3411-1|AO-27684 Location:Charlotte,NC Engagement Type: Contract Client Name: Sonepar Vallen Job Type: Industrial Shift: 2nd Shift: 2.00PM - 11:30PM Mon-Fri Pay Rate:$19.00 / hr Job Summary Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer's location to fulfill daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory, while maintaining a professional, clean, and organized work environment. This is a temp-to-hire position; site is climate controlled. Must be a US Citizen. Steel toe shoes required; dress code is pants with belt loops and a t-shirt or polo. Roles & Responsibilities Unload, receive, and put away incoming product, goods, tools, and/or equipment; unpack bales/crates/containers; check for damage and invoice discrepancies Sort, label, move, and store items per predetermined sequence (size, style, product codes); optimize crib space Issue product, goods, tools, and/or equipment to site employees; maintain accurate records of issued/returned items Enter data into database/computerized systems to maintain stock records; retrieve information for inquiries (inventory levels, delivery schedules); document discrepancies on error logs Request requisitions to replenish inventory Assist with inventory maintenance, perform cycle counts, and prepare report results Inspect and measure tools/equipment for defects/wear; report damage to supervisors Prepare periodic or perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment Deliver tools/equipment to associate work locations Investigate and locate lost or misplaced equipment/safety supplies Repair, service, and lubricate tools/equipment as required Use RF scanner as needed Load vending machines and POU areas (future responsibility) Perform other related duties as requested Experience 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training Previous stocking experience - preferred Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment Key Skills Storeroom/inventory management Basic computer proficiency (MS Office; Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 - preferred) Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; rate/ratio/percent computation preferred) Strong communication and customer service skills Team collaboration and self-motivation Eligibility & Qualifications Must be a US Citizen High school diploma or equivalent - preferred (not required) Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Attention to detail and safety-minded approach Steel toe shoes required Ability to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance following SOPs #J-18808-Ljbffr MillenniumSoft Inc
