Mortgage Compliance Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Compliance Specialist for a leading mortgage lender and mortgage broker. This role can be flexible depending on location (remote, hybrid or in-office). The office is based in Stamford, CT. Hours are Mon – Fri 9:00am – 5:30pm EST. Comp package 75K – 90K Base + Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Company's internal compliance functions, including Quality Control (QC). Coordinate with third-party QC vendor to submit loan files, review findings, obtain final reports, analyze results, and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate and monitor compliance training to ensure employees remain current with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Track regulatory updates and changes, assess their impact on the company, and communicate applicable requirements to management and staff.
• Manage company, branch, and Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license renewals and related compliance requirements.
• Work with management on regulatory examinations, Mortgage Call Reports (MCR), HMDA reporting, and other regulatory filings.
• Review marketing materials, website content, social media, and electronic communications to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Must have working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of mortgage advertising and marketing compliance, including website and social media requirements.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through. xhyhwjd
