JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data Engineer-Junior will support future Defense & Intelligence Programs for SOCPAC at Camp Smith, Hawaii.

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

Develop and maintain basic ETL/ELT pipelines to support mission-critical analytics. Assist in integrating, cleaning, and validating data from structured and unstructured sources. Contribute to data modeling, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Basic familiarity with Windows or Linux commands Foundational experience with Python Foundational experience with SQL Experience with Git (Github and/or Gitlab) Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with Databases (such as: Postgres, Elastic, etc.)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Clearance: Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required. Experience: 0–3 years of related experience (internship or academic project experience accepted). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Certifications: None required; cloud foundational certifications preferred. Role requirements: On-site 5 days. Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
