Field Territory Manager — Drive Foodservice Growth

Territory Manager – Where Passion Meets Opportunity What You’ll Do as a Territory Manager Be the Customer Champion : Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team-based selling model. Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies to help customers succeed. Drive Sales Success : Measure success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations and tailored approaches. Time and territory management is critical. Team-Based Selling : Collaborate with Specialists to target new accounts and support penetration opportunities. Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service for seamless product delivery. Lead with Insight : Develop new business by identifying prospects through market intelligence databases, business directories, referrals, industry clubs, trade shows, and conferences. Delivery Resolution : Manage deliveries per the routing schedule, troubleshoot order‑process issues such as mis‑picks, short loads, or stock‑outs. Competitive Advantage : Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors. Share this information with customers as part of value-added services. Stay on the Move : Drive your motor vehicle for regular check‑ins, site visits, and follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction. Supervision No direct reports. Work Environment Daily work outside the office, visiting customers in varying weather and temperature conditions. Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of sales experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a vehicle record in good standing. Foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to build internal and external relationships and cold‑call to develop new business. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals. Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and negotiation skills. Team‑up mentality to collaborate with stakeholders. Tech‑savviness – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus. Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs. The expected base rate for this role is $55,000–$95,000, with eligibility for incentive pay.
