Facilities Instrumentation Engineer --Semiconductor : 202126

Primarily remote — ~50% onsite first month, then 1 week onsite per month thereafter. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship available. We're looking for a Facilities Instrumentation Engineering Owner's Representative to play a key role in delivering cutting‑edge semiconductor manufacturing projects in Boise, ID. You'll act as the technical owner and advocate for Instrumentation and Controls scope during the Tool Installation phase — providing engineering oversight for fire alarm, chemical controls, toxic gas monitoring (TGM) systems, and associated PLCs — in one of the most advanced industrial facilities in the world. Pay: $50.48- $62.50 per hour DOE What you'll do Provide engineering and design oversight during installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools Review and influence instrumentation and controls designs related to factory control systems, fire alarms, chemical controls, and TGM systems Develop and review technical specifications for tool installation Review vendor submittals and design deliverables to ensure compliance with requirements and applicable codes Collaborate with facilities, construction, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure successful execution What you need Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or associated degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university 5+ years of experience in engineering design of industrial control systems Strong knowledge of IFC, IMC, UL, and IEEE standards Experience selecting and specifying electrical and controls equipment and systems Proven ability to review vendor submittals against contractual and technical requirements Must pass background check and drug screening Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no sponsorship available Nice to have EIT certification or PE license 2+ years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools (design, installation, or cleanroom use) Field experience working directly with subcontractors and construction personnel Familiarity with BIM/CAD tools such as Revit or AutoCAD #J-18808-Ljbffr HKA Enterprises
