General Dentist Opportunity

Join a mission-driven dental team in the heart of Central Maine. Hometown Health Center (HHC) is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Dentist to provide high-quality care in our Dexter clinic.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry to patients of all ages
• Deliver preventive, restorative and minor surgical care
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and disease prevention
• Work closely with dental hygienists, assistants and integrated care team
• Maintain accurate documentation in our electronic dental record (EDR) system
• Participate in school-based or mobile outreach (optional, if interested)

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time (4- or 5-day schedule) or part-time option
• No weekends or after-hours call
• NHSC Loan Repayment eligible
• Annual CE budget and time off for training

What You Bring

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active Maine dental license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in general dentistry
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
• Commitment to providing equitable, compassionate care
• Pediatric experience or interest
• Comfort with digital charting and EDR systems
• Passion for rural or school-based care
