Computed Tomography Radiologic Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts: 10 hour varied shifts. Note: No time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Job Description

The CT Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans in accordance with radiologist protocols. The technologist will operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of routine and specialized computed tomography scans.
• Function independently without supervision while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Perform venipuncture and assist with procedures such as biopsies or drainages as needed.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and maintain patient information accurately.
• Engage in ongoing communication with radiologists and medical staff regarding scan protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting is required.
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT units, Vitrea workstation, and procedures such as vascular or cardiac imaging is preferred.
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved exemption must be provided prior to the contract start date.
