Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified OR Scrub Tech to join the surgical team at a community hospital. The ideal candidate will support the operating room team during various surgeries, prioritizing patient safety and efficient procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other team members during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies.
• Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly and ready for use.
• Handle patient positioning and draping according to procedural requirements.
• Document surgical activities and materials used using paper-based charting systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards throughout all procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Tech is required.
• Proven experience working in a surgical environment, preferably in adult/geriatrics and pediatrics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with multiple operating rooms.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instruments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to start ASAP and work 4-10 hour shifts, 7A-5:30P.
