SierraVista operates 92 beds offering detox, acute psychiatric, residential, PHP, and IOP programs. About the Role Sierra Vista is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Coordinator to manage, maintain, and safeguard resident health records in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. This role is essential to ensuring accurate documentation, timely record retrieval, and confidentiality of all medical information. Key Responsibilities Maintain and organize resident medical records in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper filing of all documentation Process requests for medical records from authorized providers, families, and agencies Monitor documentation for compliance with regulatory standards (CMS, state health requirements, etc.) Manage electronic health record (EHR) system updates and data entry Coordinate chart audits and assist with quality assurance initiatives Collaborate with nursing, admissions, and administrative staff Safeguard confidentiality and security of all resident information Support survey readiness and documentation reviews Qualifications High school diploma or GED Must be 21 or older Previous experience in medical records, health information, or administrative healthcare role preferred Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards W hy You’ll Love It Here (Full‑Time Benefits) Multiple medical plan options, Vista Wellness (physician/pharmacy), Dental, Vision Generous PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company contribution; Life and disability coverage Tuition reimbursement up to $15,000 and student loan forgiveness programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
