Contract | Varied Shifts (8s, 10s, and 12s available; day, evening, and night shifts; varied start times) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub surgical cases across a high-volume OR environment handling 35–45 cases per day across 9 OR suites, one procedure room, and one hybrid room
• Support a wide range of surgical specialties including general, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, robotics (da Vinci and Rosa), neuro spine, vascular, podiatry, sports medicine, and trauma; all surgical cases except CVOR and L&D/C-sections
• Assist with robotic-assisted procedures, including passing arms in and out for robotic cases
• Participate in on-call rotation: one weeknight on-call (7p–7a), one weekend 24-hour on-call (7a–7p) per month, and holiday rotation as needed; call response time is 30 minutes
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Evening and night shift RNs must be prepared to serve as the sole RN on shift alongside two surgical technologists and must be comfortable with all surgical specialties

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2–3 years of Operating Room experience
• 2–3 previous travel assignments required
• Orthopedic OR experience required
• Hands-on experience passing robotic arms in and out (robotic-assisted surgery) required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Scrubbing experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn or refresh skills in a specific service line for day shift candidates with experience primarily in one specialty
