Sales Counselor - Hunters Woods at Trails Edge

An immediate and exciting opportunity exists for a seasoned and dynamic Sales Counselor at Hunters Woods at Trails Edge, a 210 unit, established provider of Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care in Reston, VA. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will build meaningful professional relationships with prospective residents, adult children and organizations/influencers within the community at large. You will effectively manage community tours, share why Hunters Woods at Trails Edge is THE place to be, initiate purposeful/timely follow up and achieve leasing goals.

Base salary of 70,000.00 and aggressive commission plan based on leasing performance offered.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Occupancy Support

• Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing to move prospects through the sales process

• Generate and convert qualified inquiries, referrals, tours, and move-ins

• Utilize Solera sales methodologies to achieve targeted closing ratios

• Accurately represent the community’s services, amenities, and pricing

Lead Management & Follow-Up

• Respond promptly to incoming inquiries and conduct consistent follow-up

• Enter and maintain accurate lead and activity data in the CRM

• Track referrals, inquiries, tours, and outcomes

Referral Development & Outreach

• Build and maintain relationships with local referral sources

• Participate in networking events and community outreach

• Maintain an outside referral database and meet weekly contact goals

Tour Readiness & Community Presentation

• Monitor model and respite rooms daily to ensure tour readiness

• Conduct morning walk-throughs to ensure common areas are show-ready

• Assist with staging and presentation of model spaces

Marketing & Reporting Support

• Assist with weekly marketing and occupancy reporting

• Support Competitive Market Analyses as requested

• Assist with social media and local marketing initiatives

• Participate in stand-up meetings and cross-department collaboration

Events & Team Support

• Assist with setup and breakdown of marketing and special events

• Maintain a positive, professional image in all interactions

• Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

• 1–2 years of experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or sales preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups

• Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven

• Ability to spend part of the workweek marketing and selling outside the community

• Proficiency with basic office and CRM systems
