Estimator Position

Our client is a long standing partner in the Denver Metro area. They are well known for their retention, culture, and relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

As the Estimator , you will support the preconstruction and estimating function, reporting into senior estimating leadership and collaborating closely with project management.

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family construction projects
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications and other project documentation
• Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking
• Assist with bid leveling, scope reviews and pricing analysis under the guidance of senior estimators
• Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information
• Review plans, specifications and addenda to ensure full and accurate scope coverage
• Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions

The Successful Applicant

For the Estimator role, we are seeking:

• 2+ years' experience in construction estimating, project engineering or a related role (internships welcome)
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Fundamental understanding of construction methods, materials and terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff (advantageous)
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, office-based environment
