What You'll Do

• Prescription Preparation: Receiving prescriptions, entering patient and medication information into computer systems, accurately counting, measuring, mixing, and labeling medications.
• Inventory Management: Stocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory of medications and supplies, tracking expiration dates, and placing orders with suppliers.
• Patient Interaction: Interacting with patients and caregivers, answering questions about medications, and providing world class customer service.
• Administrative Tasks: Processing insurance claims, updating patient records, managing billing, and performing clerical duties related to pharmacy operations.
• Quality Assurance: Verifying patient information for accuracy, ensuring medications are stored and handled properly, and assisting in maintaining sterile conditions in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
