Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-06:45); every other weekend required. Job Description The Registered Nurse-Intensive Care Unit is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a high-acuity Neuro ICU setting. Responsibilities Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques. Collect and analyze patient health data to identify problems and develop individualized plans of care. Implement interventions and evaluate patient progress toward attainment of expected outcomes. Assist with discharge planning and provide education to patients and significant others about illness and injury prevention. Maintain confidentiality of all information and perform additional duties as assigned. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Two years of experience preferred. Must be BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certified. Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at the time of submission. Experience with EVD management, ventilator management, and stroke management. Charting experience with Epic is preferred.
