About The Role
We're looking for a Long-Form Editor to support a conversational pop culture podcast known for candid discussions, cultural commentary, and personality-driven storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who understands pacing in unscripted dialogue and knows how to shape raw conversation into tight, engaging episodes.
- Edit full-length podcast-style episodes with a focus on pacing, comedic timing, and conversational flow
- Shape raw multi-cam footage into polished, cohesive final cuts
- Integrate graphics, on-screen text, references, and light visual enhancements when appropriate
- Balance visual engagement with a clean, consistent show aesthetic
- Export and deliver final cuts aligned with upload deadlines
- Maintain organized project files and timelines within DaVinci Resolve
- Proficient in DaVinci Resolve (certification preferred)
- 3+ years of experience editing long-form digital or podcast-style content
- Strong understanding of conversational pacing and audience retention
- Experience working with multi-camera setups
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and deadline-driven
