Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite hospital facility that fosters an energetic and collaborative atmosphere. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, evidence-based therapy services to patients, adhering to established treatment protocols under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' functional abilities, mobility, and overall well-being.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adapting activities and interventions based on real-time feedback to maximize effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coherent and comprehensive care that meets the diverse needs of each patient.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, techniques, and strategies to support continued recovery at home.
• Create a motivational and encouraging environment that instills trust and promotes patient engagement in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current California PTA license (or in the process of obtaining).

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also demonstrating the capability to function independently when necessary.
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment is preferred.
• CPR certification is required (or willingness to obtain prior to the start date).
