Speech and Language Pathologist-Multiple Openings

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Pathologist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language pathology and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with communication disorders. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by enhancing their communication skills and supporting their academic success.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of need.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique communication challenges.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents to raise awareness about speech and language development.
• Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech and language pathology.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state certification or licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for effective documentation and record-keeping.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advancements in the field.

Hours: Elementary - 8:35 AM- 4:05 PM

Middle School - 7:20 AM - 2:50 PM

High School - 7:20 AM - 2:50 PM
