Job Description: FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES Starting Range $99,000-$102,000 annually $10,000 Sign-on Bonus payable in two installments following the end of training Schedule is a 5 days on/10 days off rotation Company paid crew housing while on shift We’re hiring Flight Nurses to provide direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction. They also assist with coverage of open shifts as needed within the assigned area. JOB DUTIES Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations. Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, conduct regular equipment and base checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings. Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners. Share shift change information with the transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate documentation and records. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training necessary for the position. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in emergency or critical care setting required. Flight experience preferred. Education: Current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area required. EMT Certification in applicable states. AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status. Trauma certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Advanced Certifications (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) preferred and required within 12 months of hire. Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred. Physical Demands Must be willing to shave facial hair (if needed) to fit an N95 mask. Possess the gross and fine motor skills necessary for full patient care activities. Lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with assistance. Have specific vision abilities including close, distant, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
