Dental Hygienist / EFDA for Pediatric Practice

Overview

Local pediatric dental group looking to hire a professional, motivated, compassionate Dental Hygienist or EFDA for our Pleasant Hills location. New Graduates encouraged to apply! Position for full-time or Part Time.

Office hours are 8:00am-4pm. No Evenings or Weekends

Compensation & Benefits

Company benefits include: 401K with employer matching (after 6 mos), up to 5 paid holidays, 2 weeks PTO, health, dental and vision benefits offered

Compensation: Starting at $35+/hr. Negotiable depending on experience and professional license (EFDA vs RDH)

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality pediatric dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis/coronal polishing, sealants, and fluoride applications.
• Take digital radiographs using XDR Sensors with XV Web software.
• Educate pediatric patients and their parents on proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Document patient care accurately in Open Dental.
• Manage a comfortable patient flow with 30-60 mins per patient.

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist or Expanded Function Dental Assistant License is required.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification and clearances required.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, child-friendly demeanor.
