Job Summary

Party Paws Playhouse is seeking a caring, dependable Kennel Assistant to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the safe, clean, and joyful environment PPP is known for. As a Kennel Assistant, you will provide daily care and enrichment for dogs in our facility, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

You will help maintain accurate records of each dog’s temperament, preferences, routines, and any behavioral changes. The ideal candidate loves animals, understands safe handling practices, and thrives in a team‑centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for all dogs, including feeding, fresh water, and monitoring well‑being

• Engage dogs in supervised play, walks, and enrichment activities

• Clean kennels, playrooms, and work areas to PPP sanitation standards

• Wash bedding, toys, bowls, and other items as needed

• Greet and assist customers during drop‑off and pick‑up

• Observe and document behavior, temperament, and preferences

• Maintain accurate records for each dog in our care

• Follow all PPP safety, handling, and cleaning procedures

Qualifications

• Experience working with animals required

• Familiarity with safe animal‑handling procedures and best practices

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

• Compassionate, patient, and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and with a team
