Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Services

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Women's Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum care, along with the skills necessary to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Information:

Shift: Night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend
Call Requirements: None

Unit Information:

Number of Beds: 5 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP), 3 Overflow, 3 Triage
Patient Ratios: AWHONN staffing standards
Equipment: 1 main operating room, Epidural, Nitrous, Monica Novi wireless monitoring
EHR: Meditech, OBIX
Patient Population: Variety, including low to high-risk cases, and a low volume of substance use disorder cases

Qualifications:

Required Certifications: NRP, BLS, EFM
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum nursing
Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Float Requirements: None

Common Diagnosis and Treatments:

The Registered Nurse will manage a diverse range of diagnoses and treatments typically encountered in women's health and newborn care.

Dress Code:

Scrub Color: Any color, no cartoon characters
Unacceptable Attire: No blue jeans

Location:

The position is located in a scenic area, close to beautiful sandy beaches and the stunning coastline of Lake Superior.
