Job Description and Duties As a Cloud Services Specialist, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of our cloud-based services. Your responsibilities include: Architecting and deploying scalable cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms. Utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep to automate resource provisioning. Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing improvements. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives. Telework Information Hybrid work schedule: up to two days remote and three or more days onsite per week. Sponsorship CalPERS does not participate in E‑Verify for employment authorization purposes. Provide a specific example of how you have used IaC to automate cloud resource provisioning and explain the benefits realized by your team or organization.
