Application Support Specialist - Plano

Salary: $153,254.4 - 153,254.4 per year Requirements:

• Proficiency with the Linux command line for operating system and major middleware support
• Windows operating system administration skills
• Familiarity with middleware and data platforms such as IIS, Apache, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience using JIRA to track tasks and incidents
• Basic project coordination skills for working across multiple teams
• Linux scripting for automation is preferred
• Project management experience, knowledge of storage technologies, and software development experience such as Python are preferred

• Troubleshoot basic issues in Linux and Windows environments
• Manage certificates and support password rotations for application components
• Coordinate server and software builds for development and test teams
• Plan and carry out operating system and middleware patching

• Use Splunk and MongoDB for basic troubleshooting and monitoring
• Coordinate with multiple teams and track work and issues in JIRA
