Job Description
Join a Gastroenterology (GI) team as a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with 40 guaranteed hours per week. The GI RN will provide comprehensive patient care throughout the procedural process, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure recovery. This role requires strong critical thinking, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

Active RN License (Single State or Compact) required

BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) required

ACLS Certification required

Epic EMR experience required

GI/Endoscopy nursing experience preferred

Experience providing pre-op and post-op patient care required

Ability to assist in procedure rooms required

Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills required

Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills required

Ability to participate in on-call rotation required (1 day per week and every 4th weekend)
