_ ** Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio company **_ is actively recruiting for a temporary, Tort Litigation Paralegal for an onsite position for a law firm client in Dallas, TX .

This is a temporary position that could turn to a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate.

** Position Summary **

The Tort Litigation Paralegal provides high-level litigation support to an attorney handling tort and mass tort matters. This role requires substantial experience in both federal and state court litigation, including PACER filings, case management, document production, legal research, and deadline tracking. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational ability, sound judgment, and the capacity to manage a high-volume caseload with precision and professionalism.

** Key Responsibilities **

• Support one attorney in the management of tort and litigation matters.
• Schedule appointments, hearings, meetings, and other case-related events.
• Maintain attorney calendars and track all litigation deadlines, ensuring critical dates are entered accurately on the master calendar.
• Manage and assist with document production, case file preparation, and file organization.
• Draft, prepare, and revise legal documents, including but not limited to:
  • Complaints
  • Answers
  • Briefs
  • Pretrial memoranda
  • Discovery requests and responses
  • Trial exhibits
  • Appeals
  • Motions
  • Routine pleadings
• File motions, pleadings, and related legal documents in accordance with federal and state court procedures.
• Assemble exhibits, pleadings, and supporting documents for hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Conduct legal research using applicable tools and resources, including statutes, regulations, case law, legal articles, and judicial decisions.
• Provide written research summaries and analysis to support attorney strategy and case preparation.
• Draft simple pleadings, declarations, correspondence, memoranda, and emails from written notes or transcription.
• Assist with court filings and ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
• Proofread and finalize legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm formatting standards.
• Perform additional litigation and administrative duties as assigned.

** Required Qualifications **

• Associate’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
• 3+ years of heavy litigation experience required.
• Strong experience with PACER and federal and state court filings required.
• Strong understanding of litigation terminology and mass tort case processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active matters and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent case management skills, including prioritization, organization, and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and deadline management.
• Ability to maintain a high volume of case files with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience with Westlaw preferred.
• Experience in multi-state federal litigation strongly preferred.
