Veterinary Technician Assistant
VCA Loomis Basin is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant to play a vital role in delivering a high level of patient care for our night shift team.
VCA Loomis Basin is an AAHA-accredited, 24/7 hospital that offers emergency, general practice, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, and specialty surgery. Duties include:
- Patient care: walking, ensuring access to clean water, and clean housing
- Assisting the veterinary technicians & assistants with administering fluids, patient restraint, and other basic tasks
- Restraint for radiographer
- Cleaning patient spaces and kennels
- Cleaning and packing instruments
- Stocking hospital departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Laundry for hospital to ensure towels, blankets and bedding are available when needed
