Senior Cost Analyst Cost Accountant/Analyst Georgetown , Massachusetts Perm 100000 Aug 19, 2026 $100000.00 - $120000.00 Senior Cost Analyst | Cost Accountant Manufacturing | Cost Accounting | Financial Analysis Hybrid - Andover MA area | $90-120k base + bonus KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization in its search for a Senior Cost Analyst . This position will play a key role across cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, inventory, and operational analysis. The Senior Cost Analyst will work closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Sales to provide financial insight into manufacturing performance and identify opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies. Responsibilities: Analyze product costs, including direct labor, materials, overhead, and manufacturing variances Manage and analyze inventory valuation, ensuring accuracy of inventory-related financial reporting Prepare cost and operational reporting and provide analysis around key trends and variances Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes Monitor actual results against budget/forecast and investigate significant variances Partner with Operations, Engineering, Sales, and other departments on cost analysis and financial initiatives Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive improvements to manufacturing-related financial processes Support month-end financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Assist with internal and external audits and maintain appropriate internal controls Support continuous improvement initiatives across cost accounting, reporting, and financial processes Provide guidance and review support to junior team members as needed Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Prior cost accounting / cost analysis experience within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles Experience with inventory accounting, product costing, overhead, and variance analysis Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Prior internal and external audit exposure Experience with Syteline strongly preferred Strong Excel and analytical skills Excellent communication and cross-functional business partnership skills Detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Senior Cost Analyst | Cost Accountant Manufacturing | Cost Accounting | Financial Analysis Hybrid - Andover MA area | $90-120k base + bonus KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization in its search for a Senior Cost Analyst .
